Greetings fellow book-lovers,

My name is Michelle, and welcome to my blog. While this blog does focus on bookish topics, I do branch off into the world of TV, movies, music, and more. This blog arose out of my love for books and giving recommendations to friends and so forth.

To tell you a little about myself, I love period dramas -- they possess a sense of romance that is unparalleled by any other genre of film. Some of my favorites would be Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley, although I must admit I haven't read the book yet -- I had made attempts to start it back when I was younger -- the language of Austen bogged me down at that age, but I have full intentions to finish it this summer), North and South (beautiful, just beautiful; what more can I say?), and A Room With a View.

I am also an avid fan of Doctor Who. I started out with the 11th Doctor, and fell head over heels in love with the show's perpetual adventure through space in time. Every time I hear or see, "All of time and space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?" it hits me in the feels. Hand in hand with that, I appreciate Sherlock as well, although the wait for the next season does get taxing. I do also love TV comedies.

Anne of Green Gables (Forever and ever and ever will I love L.M. Montgomery and those books).
